Following the death of a loved one, individuals may experience various stages of grief at different times, and Prairie & Prairie Home Health has developed a variety of support systems to help families and friends work through this grieving process. Hospice of the Prairie & Prairie Home Health offers professional services to provide support and facilitate growth as one adjusts to life after a loss. Our services are offered at no cost to the families and friends of hospice patients and are also available to everyone in the community.
Short-term individual and family counseling is available for children and adults. Grief support is also provided through phone calls, newsletters and other mailings. A library is also available with books about grief and loss. Hospice of the Prairie & Prairie Home Health offers additional grief support services based on current needs of the community.
